The 1550Z series is a robust, IP66 sealed, thick wall cast aluminum range of enclosures suited to the rigours of the electrical or automation industries.

Lid screws are outside the gasket eliminating the need for o-rings around the screws
Easy wall mounting via 'through box - blind hole'. Access to blind holes are below lid outside gasket so IP rating is preserved.
Unpainted boxes 'vibra finished' for a smooth surface.
Painted boxes are finsished inside and out with a tough polyester powder paint that can handle abuse during machining.
On some boxes the lid screws are self captivating.
One piece gasket, preformed ensures perfect fit.
No internal ribs for easy mounting of connetors without the need for additional machining.
