2 millionth Hannay hose reel sold by Reel-Tech

The two millionth hose reel was a Hannay AG Series reel and was sent to a customer in Queensland. When Waynard Yuzon from Reel-Tech saw the message from Hannay Reels about this historic hose reel, it was retrieved and honored with commemorative photos & promotional material and will be housed at the Reel-Tech head office for prosperity. Reel-Tech would like to thank all their distributors for helping them to reach this historic milestone.

The AG Series, spring-retractable hose reel uses a pneumatic governor to provide slow, even travel speed throughout the rewind to ensure maximum operator safety. As the amount of resistance required by operator and application can be chosen with ease, there is no more "uncontrolled whipping" found on other, older style, uncontrolled spring reels. The air speed control governor can be scaled up to regulate speed even on the most powerful Hannay spring reels; competitor designs can only work on light-duty springs.

Because the AG Series uses air flow to control speed, it does not matter what the ambient temperature is for proper reel operation. The controlled rewind speed will not change, even in cold weather. The Hannay AG Series hose reel is fully adjustable; the end-user can turn the air restrictor clockwise or counter-clockwise until the optimal rewind speed is found for the applications.

The AG Series can be ordered on reels from ¼” to 1½”  I.D. hose sizes and can operate in all conditions and for all applications.
