25/07/2012 - In its fourth consecutive year the AIP New South Wales annual charity golf day will be held on Wednesday the 19th of September 2012 at the Camden Lakeside Country Club and is members and non members to attend.
The charity golf day is jointly run by the AIP, the APPMA and the SCLAA. Sponsors to date include: Linde, Bluestone Recruitment, Chep, Century Yuasa, Strategix Training Group, Viscount Plastics and Wellman Packaging.
About the charity
Each year there are over 600,000 child admissions made to hospitals across Australia. Sadly, Starlight reaches only '1 in 3' of these children.
Starlight's ultimate goal is to reach each and every child. Since being formed as an Australian children's charity in 1988, Starlight has brightened the lives of seriously ill and hospitalised children, and their families, throughout Australia.
Starlight programs are delivered both in and out of hospital, providing positive distraction to children in their time of need. Physical recovery is only part of the solution. Starlight delivers innovative programs designed to make children happy and lift their spirits when they need it most. Starlight brings fun and laughter to children no matter what their illness or where they live.
