AIP/APPMA Queensland Charity Golf Day

This golf day has been running now for over sixteen years and has seen thousands of dollars raised for many charities. It is jointly run by the AIP, the APPMA and the SCLAA.  

The annual charity golf day can be used as a thank you for your own staff, a day with your clients or an opportunity to network with others in the industry.

Proceeds from the Queensland golf day will be used to assist with the provision of items to be packed into 600 Christmas Hampers as part of a Christmas Function which will be held on Friday the 7th of December. This will be the third year for this very successful initiative in 2010, whereby 600 Hampers with a retail value of $95.00 each were packed by over 80 volunteers at our annual Xmas party. The hampers will consist of Christmas ‘cheer’, food and personal hygiene items and will be distributed to charities through Foodbank Queensland. Foodbank is a not-for-profit organisation that supports over 300 charities in Queensland alone by acting as a conduit between the food and grocery industry’s donations and the welfare sectors needs.
