Absolute Hollow Shaft Parallel Output Range

There is one wire required for each Bit of the output code however the exact position is always available even after power failure and movement while power is lost.

Models are available with either Gray or Binary codes, reading resolutions up to 16 Bits or 65,536 and suitable for shaft sizes from 6mm to 26mm diameter. We have a selection of housings that will fit onto shafts ranging in size from 6mm to 100mm, the main advantage of this mechanical style is that it simplifies the shaft alignment issues. The shaft is the actual mounting medium and there is just a simple tie rod between one hole in the housing and the equipment frame, to stop the housing rotating
