The T slots along the top of the rail allow brackets to be easily attached and adjusted on the spot during installation. The track can also be easily extended with the extension kit.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

The Altrac rail is a marine grade corrosion resistant aluminium alloy extruded curved section and as such is self cleaning and thereby will not require any other surface coatings.

Safety Anchors can supply Altrac rail in lengths of 12m and in curved sections. Its high tensile strength means that fewer supports are required enabling a span of up to 5m for two people.

This strength equates not only to a safer system but also cost savings, as fewer structural supports are required, reducing materials installation times and weight within the roofing structure.

The key to, the ease of assembly, of the Altrac fall arrest system is the range of standard brackets and mountings, plus the provision of T slots in the extruded track section upper flange, to allow the use of captive nut fasteners.

The three slots give unlimited scope for the positioning of the suspension brackets and mounting locations. A full range of structural brackets is available to easily and safely install and support the complete system. All that is required is a single spanner and an electric drill.

The fall arrest system being light weight and modular can be quickly and easily installed allowing for future modi? cation, extension or relocation.
