Flownex – systems level approach to flow systems
A systems level approach to flow systems. Flownex is a 1D Systems CFD program produced by the South African company MTech and supported by the software distributors: ESTEQ Engineering (Pretoria, previously MSC-Africa). eDart Engineering Solutions uses Flownex to balance the dust extraction system in the automated diamond recovery plant at Debswana’s Orapa mine and to calculate pressure drops in an O2 line at BCL, both in Botswana.

FloEFD – 3D Computational Fluid Dynamics program
A Computational Fluid Dynamics package to examine the flow detail. Flo.EFD is a 3D Computational Fluid Dynamics program produced by Mentor Graphics (formally Flomerics-NIKA) and supported by ESTEQ Engineering (Pretoria, previously MSC-Africa).

eDart have over five years of experience using this software and have consulted with it for companies such as Tellumat for the Karoo Array Telescope, the South African Astronomical Observatory, PPC, Trucking Engineering Services, South African Nylon Spinners, Optimal Energy, Mitech/Spirax-Sarco, Peralex, Avitronics and of course their own products.

Solidworks - standard 3D modelling CADD
Solidworks is a standard 3D modelling CADD package by Siemens-Dassault Systèmes and supported by MeCAD. eDart can also offer full drafting services.

"Working With" courses – 3 day course in control valve theory
eDart offers a short 3-day course in control valves theory which is presented by Mike Sessions. This course has been given internationally to companies such as Valve Solutions in England, Qatar Petroleum in Doha, Australia, as well as South African companies including Mondi, Sappi, PetroSA, Eskom, Mittal, etc.

Additionally, they coordinate, compile and facilitate the SAVAMA (South African Valve and Actuator Manufacturing Association) 6 month correspondence course called "Working with Valves" and "Working with Control Valves".
