Axess Keypad for Security & Access Control - Low Profile M.Series

A new low-profile version of the M.series rugged keypad has been added to the range of products offered by EOZSAS – the expert for Human Machine Interfaces

Just 8mm deep, the new M.series 'Axess’ offers the same design flexibility and versatility as it’s larger brother, but with a lower behind-panel depth. It is especially well suited to security and access control equipment, vending machines, or any application where space is restricted.

M.series ‘Axess' has a unique design advantage over other keypads: the standard product can be quickly adapted to suit the look and feel of any piece of equipment without the need for additional tooling. In this way, OEMs get a product that looks bespoke but without a costly design process - only the M.Series can do this.

Modularity is at the heart of the design. The 12-key basic layout can be rearranged to create a unique keypad by mix-and-matching from a range of standard options, including:

• the number of keys and the key layout
• the shape, dimension, color and material of keys
• type and color of LED illumination

The modular construction enables total design flexibility. A keypad can have between one and 12 active keys, each one separately illuminated and engraved. They can be positioned anywhere in the 3 x 4 grid. The bottom right and left keys can be illuminated with different colors. Different shaped keycaps, either round or square, can also be specified.

Built to EOZSAS’s renowned high-standards, the tough, vandal-resistant design prevents damage from shock and impact up to IK09, and it is sealed up to IP65 against moisture and dirt.
