BOC cutting nozzles are precision-machined and hand-finished to give a positive seat.

The orifces are swaged to minimise gas turbulence and slag accumulation, while the nozzle design provides excellent gas-mixing for fast pre-heating. The smoother nozzle surface refects heat and reduces spatter accumulation.

Every nozzle is inspected and fame-tested at the point of manufacture. Nozzle faces can be dressed using a fne fle and the orifces cleaned using the appropriate nozzle cleaner.

The fame shape and nozzle performance depend heavily on orifces having sharp, square edges. They should never be bell-mouthed by using pieces of wire to clean them.
