Cadcon Iris & Butterfly Valves
The Concept of the Cadcon Iris diaphragm valve is similar to that or the Iris of a camera. There are two basic versions to choose from:
The single lock series (CVSL), A cylindrical, flexible diaphragm which is fitted with flanges at both ends.
The double lock series (CVDL), which in addition to the two end flanges has an intermediate flange that is rotated while the other two flanges remain stationary.
Both types of valves are used to control the flow of: Powders, granules, flakes and crystals in a wide range of equipment e.g. hoppers, bins, driers, blenders and vertical pipelines in various industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, fertilisers, dairy products, food processing and detergents.
Butterfly Valves manufactured by Cadel Engineering Works, can provide maintenance free cycles for long life.
Butterfly Valves also have a wide range of chemical resistance due to the option and choice of liners.
Cadel Engineering Works offer Butterfly Valves with 304 or 316 Stainless Steel Bodies and options of PTFE & Silicon Liners.
We also offer the option of a PTFE coated or Silicon coated disc.
The design of the two piece body allows easy seat replacement.
Valves are available with manual handle or pneumatic actuator.
