Cincom announces Acquire cloud deployment via Azure

The Cincom Acquire product automates the configuration, pricing and quoting (CPQ) of complex products and services.

Cincom Acquire is powered by the Cincom Guru Business Rule Management System (BRMS) that empowers business users to automate complex sales and product knowledge to help drive more sales through more channels.

Cincom Acquire customers benefit by having the Microsoft Azure platform because it delivers a more cost-effective, on-demand solution while ensuring the performance, reliability and security of an on-premise alternative.

"Cloud deployment was the only answer for one of our customers needing to improve processing speed of its on-premise solution between its two plants," Ralph Schwarz, Cincom Acquire's product director, said.

"After looking at a fiber optic cable between the two plants or a third-party hosting solution, they chose Cincom Acquire on Windows Azure, which provided a cost savings over other alternatives."
