03/02/2010 - Since being formed in Italy in the 1960s, ESAM has been designing and manufacturing high-quality side channel blowers and oil-free reciprocating compressors to a number of high profile companies.
The company philosophy has always been to supply products of the highest possible quality, combined with total commitment to its customers.
Its expertise is evident not only in its products but also in the important project work it has carried out. On one occasion it designed and produced a compressor for NASA that weighed only 180 grams and built up 38 bars of pressure.
It also designed and produced side channel blowers especially for the Italian speed train 'Pendolino', which equalise cabin pressure when the train enters tunnels at high speed.
On top of that, the company sells Turbo Smart, which is an innovative wet/dry vacuum pumping system now available in Australia.
The Turbo Smart stands apart from existing vacuum systems because it constantly senses/monitors the negative pressure generated and adjusts the speed of the vacuum pump to maintain consistent performance, regardless of the ratio of air to liquid being aspirated.
Turbo Smart was designed in Italy to meet the demands of an energy conscious world. Esam says it has gone a long way down the track of energy conservation, and as a result, the Turbo Smart uses the performance capabilities of one vacuum pump to the full. The energy consumption is limited to the needs of the task at hand only.
Should greater performance (in terms of greater volume) be required, this is achieved simply by connecting multiple units of Turbo Smart in parallel.
Turbo Smart is available in two configurations:
A - 86m3/h
B - 105m3/h
There is no need to purchase another unit should the user require the higher performance of the Turbo Smart B. Conversion from A to B is quite simply achieved by the customer purchasing a password and entering it into the unit.
Turbo Smart is ideally suited for the clean up of liquid spills, where the clean-up process requires the combined aspiration of air and liquid.
As for SAM oil and moisture free air compressors, these have been designed with a unique low coefficient of friction coating between the pistons and cylinders - thus maintaining the advantages of reciprocating technology, without the undesirable effects of oil and moisture contamination to the end product.?
ESAM oil and moisture free air compressors are supplied in 1, 2, 3 and 6 cylinder configurations; single phase and three phase motors are also available.?
Additionally, NASA called upon ESAM expertise to design and manufacture an air compressor for the Shuttle program.
The compressor supplied and produced 38 bar pressure and it weighed a mere 180 Grams. The ESAM engineers were particularly proud of this achievement. SAM Australia is equally proud to announce the availability to Australia of ESAM oil and moisture free reciprocating air compressors.
