Thermal Control Switches
Thermal control switches continue to be the most efficient and reliable means of controlling temperatures as well as warning of over-temperature. Where critical component temperature ranges are involved, thermal control switches represent the final safety cutoff for protection of these components. It is imperative, therefore, that engineers be aware of the factors involved in the correct selection of thermal switches. CPI thermal control switches have been qualified to portions of MIL STD 810 as well as sections 4,6,7,8,12,13, and 14 of the RTCA DO-160C.

Waterproof Control Switches
CPI's Waterproof Control Switch system is developed around our basic snap-action, waterproof switches. Using their basic switch as the starting point, CPI have designed a full range of switching products for hundreds of applications.

Small, flat, and lightweight, CPI Waterproof Control Switches are designed to perform under severe environmental conditions. They operate reliably under exposure to water, oil, humidity, sand, dirt, vibration, and shock. Switches meet MIL-STD, IP68, or UL/CSA recognition (based on part number or series). Both the switch and lead wires are encased in thermoplastic rubber or neoprene (depending on the switch series) and will withstand temperatures from -65ºF to 221ºF.

Designed originally for rugged military applications, CPI's Waterproof Control Switches are extremely durable and versatile and provide the user with a switch design that does not need additional wiring.

Linear Position Control Sensors - SL Series
SL Series control sensors are based on a patented technology that couples the translation of a hydraulic cylinder to a non-contacting sensor element.  With an increased maximum sensing ranged of 72" (up from the SL200's 48"), these sensors are more robust than any other internally mounted sensor available today.  Utilising an extremely accurate non-contacting core sensor, the SL720 provides long life without any degradation in performance.
