Coogee Chemicals purchases next-generation Hyster reach stacker

Coogee Chemicals is a privately owned company and proudly Western Australian.

Coogee Chemicals commenced operations in 1971 as a copper-sulphate producer in Western Australia.

Over the last 41 years the company has continued to expand its product range and operations around Australia and into Malaysia. The company now has 11 sites and employs over 200 people. Coogee Chemicals produces a wide range of industrial, agricultural and mineral processing chemicals for supply to both the Australian and international markets.

In addition it provides bulk liquid terminal facilities for import, export and storage of chemicals and fuels.

Coogee's Mt Isa fleet contains one reach stacker and a 2.5T forklift. The Reach Stacker is predominately used by Coogee Chemicals to pick up and store Iso-Tanker Containers. These containers hold a reagent product which is supplied to Mt Isa Mines to assist in the manufacturing of Xanthates.

The Hyster Reach Stacker will significantly improve productivity and handling times for the Coogee Chemicals' Mt Isa site.
