05/07/2012 - Devex finalised the implementation of Management View in the Mining Management at Mina do Pico (GAMOL) — a Vale unit, in Itabirito.
With the tool, data on operation indicators (such as production, cycle time, DMT-Average Transportation Distance, among others) can be accessed directly through SmartMine's Database, and can be viewed on mobile devices.
What changed With Management View: the whole team receives — in real time — all the information about the mine production.
Before, the data was sent to the operation room, but now, with the tool aggregated to SmartMine, it can also be accessed by managers and supervisors who have gained more autonomy in the decision making.
