Economic forum just a 'photo opportunity' for PM: Abbott
14/06/2012 - The federal government's economic forum is just a publicity stunt with Prime Minister Julia Gillard begging industry to talk up her administration, Opposition Leader Tony Abbott says.

Abbott said the Brisbane event was not a serious exercise in developing or changing policy.
"This was about a prime minister looking for a photo opportunity as she flounders," he told reporters in Adelaide on Wednesday.
"This was not about changing policy, this was about making excuses for failure."
Abbott was also critical of moves to stage some of the forum behind closed doors.
About 150 representatives from government, business, unions, academia and the not-for-profit sector took part in the economic forum.
The premiers of Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia attended but those from Queensland, NSW and Western Australia declined.
