Energy Consumption Monitoring

The rugged fanless BEMG-4110/4220 Energy Data Concentrators have an operating temperature range of -10~60°C, and the BEMG-4221/4222 have an extended operating temperature range of -10~70°C making them ideal for managing power needs in harsh outdoor environments. These new concentrators have Advantech WinCE WebAccess built-in so they can be configured and maintained via a web browser. The driver in the concentrators allows the building devices data to be converted to standard Modbus TCP or BACnet IP for the host computer to read.

The data concentrators have a pre-installed 1 GB CompactFlash card, which is used for storing the systems’ WindowsCE operating system, Advantech WinCE WebAccess configuration software and the data logs. This feature provides data storage in environments where network communication is unreliable. Data will be stored in the concentrators when the network communication is poor. Once the networks reestablish communication, the system will register the start time of the data lost and data will be recovered to the database. The Advantech WinCE WebAccess SCADA tool supports up to 600 tags is used to configure the devices.
