According to Economist Intelligence Unit research sponsored by KPMG, IBM and Ace, climate change risk was ranked as being the risk least effectively managed by organisations. Australian businesses have largely been managed without reliable reference to the extreme variability of our climate. The Climate Change Risk Management Forum, address the need for business decisions in Australia to factor the more sophisticated risk management knowledge in climate risk and have the capability to cope with climate variability leading to better decision making.
