MegaTuff® is your hydraulic best solution – Cover abrasion is the first cause of premature failure of standard hydraulic hose in rugged environments such as mining, injection moulding, rock quarries or construction. Gates MegaTuff® is the long-lasting solution to the problem of abrasion. Thanks to the cover, made special hybrid compound, the new cover material has been tested to last up to 300 times longer than standard rubber covered hoses. This feature increases service life, lowers maintenance, and eliminates the need for costly hose protectors such as guards, sleeves and bundling.
Built mega-tough: The innovative manufacturing process guarantees superior adhesion of the MegaTuff cover to the hose. The hose will not peel off, remains flexible and guarantees minimum bend radius performance. The combination of the MegaSys® Pressure hoses with the MegaTuff cover offers superior impulse performance and good flexibility on all sizes.

Hydraulic hoses available with the MegaTuff® cover have pressure ratings up to 6,000 psi. ID sizes are from 1/4- to 1-inch in the wire braid construction, and from 3/8- to 2-inches in spiral wire. Most are designed with a half SAE bend radius.
