TSE presents the Series 33X and 35X high precision pressure transmitters, from European company Keller. These series are based on the stable, floating piezoresistive transducer and the newly developed XEMICS micro-processor with integrated 16 bit A/D converter. Temperature dependencies and non-linearities of the sensor are mathematically compensated, which means that accuracy can be as good as 0.05% FS in the standard 33X or up to 0.01% FS for the 35X.
Standard pressure ranges in these series vary from 0.8 bar to 1000 bar and resolution is a low 0.002% FS for all pressure transmitters. The D/A converter can output analog signals of 4-20mA or 0 to 10V, although the digital output (RS 485) is available on all transmitters with analog output.
This pressure transmitter has a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 120°C, and a pressure endurance of 10 million pressure cycles. The environmental protection is to an IP 65 rating, although there are optional IP 67 and IP 68 ratings for pressure transducers with cable, on request.
With the READ30 software and Keller cable K-107, the calculated pressure can be displayed on a laptop or PC. Pressure signals and graphic displays can also be shown with this software. Up to 128 pressure transmitters can be hooked together to a Bus-system.
This pressure transmitter is available in Australia and New Zealand from Technical and Scientific Equipment.
