Hyundai Forklifts Make Them Tougher Than Tonka

When the going gets tough, the tough get going to Flexilift -- for a Hyundai forklift that is.
With over 70 models of Hyundai Forklifts in production ranging from 1.5 ton up to 16 ton Flexilift can now offer customers a much greater range of material handling equipment to suit the most demanding warehouse or materials handling application.
But its not just the fact that Hyundai makes many models to suit many applications - it's the simple fact that Hyundai makes forklifts to last a long time in the harshest of conditions.
In just one example of just how tough Hyundai materials handling machinery can be, recently a Hyundai piece of equipment weighing 22 tons was on top of a trailer and heading east on Interstate 70 in Kansas, USA, when it decided to ram a bridge.
The extended shovel arm was made of hardened refined steel and the approaching overpass bridge was made of commercial-grade concrete, reinforced with 1 1/2 inch steel bar spaced at 6 inch intervals in a criss-cross pattern layered at a 1 foot vertical spacing.
After the collision, it was the concrete bridge that came out second best, with the Hyundai loader looking virtually unscathed.
According to Mr. John Fisher, Business Development Manager of Flexilift Australia Pty Ltd, "we are proud to be associated with the Hyundai brand- one that eschews the very values that we also believe in: quality, customer service and innovation and hard work".
And in many ways, Hyundai's famous '4T Philosophy'-'Trust, Togetherness, Tenacity and Talent' is shared by a similar way of thinking at Flexilift.
"We also believe that service, commitment and excellence and trust are the core values of our business and in that respect, although we are a minnow compared to Hyundai, we in some ways are exactly the same", says Mr. Fisher.
Moreover, says Mr. Fisher, "if its tenacity you need and you want the toughest forklift in the game, you don't need to go any further than a Hyundai forklift".
"Hyundai makes everything from ships to mobile phones and everything in between. They approach their forklift manufacture with the same mindset as they would shipbuilding-that is, if they were any tougher, they'd rust, he says.
And as Mr. Fisher points out, "In a time of economic stagnation, buying a forklift that is tougher than reinforced concrete makes sound economic sense".
"At Flexilift, we know that customers want a forklift that is tougher than anything else out there and with the Hyundai, you get just that", he concludes.
The full range of Hyundai forklifts that are available from Flexilift include all Diesel, Electric and LPG variants.
