Bulk Plastic Bins and Tanks

Available in two types - injection moulded and roto moulded.

Injection moulding produces a rigid product which has the advantage of producing either a single formed bin either solid or vented (for air circulation), or with panels that either fold down to create a collapsible unit (lower transport costs when empty), or panels with say half fold down flaps.

Injection moulds are extremely expensive, so a set range is usually offered, with no chance of modification, except maybe to add a drain plug. They are also generally not repairable.

Roto moulding is as flexible as you want it to be, as the mould making process is relatively cheap, and virtually any shape and size can be accommodated.

There are set sizes available from 30 Ltr to 1500 Ltr or more, in straight or tapered sides (tapered allows nesting = space saving on empty transporting).

Roto moulded products are usually made from low density polyethylene which can be heat welded should you inadvertently damage it.

Moulded lids, drain plugs, steel frames for larger tanks and wheeled dollys are all available.

Plastic comes in virgin (food / phamaceuticals) in every colour, or slightly cheaper re-grind - usually black only. Your name / logo can be added to the mould provided the order quantity is large enough.

Some bins can have base boards which allow the bins to be rotated using a fork attached rotator.

One special bin (Roto-Bin) we have, has twin walls which insulates the contents, has rounded inside corners to ensure complete washing, and has formed base boards on one side for rotation of the bin, whilst the other side is open and used for transporting the bin by hand pallet truck. The optional round edged lid seals the bin completely, and was developed solely for the food industry.
