Intrinsically Safe Pressure Transmitter IS-2X with SIL

Resulting from the SIL-evaluation, the safety-related data of the IS-2X is now available for customers in process industry and machine building. The IS-2X is suitable for the use in SIL 2 applications. Furthermore customers also get data to evaluate their whole system according to SIL.

Safety-related data for customers in process industry include:

Average Probability of Failure on Demand (PFDa)
Hardware Fault Tolerance (HFT)
Safe Failure Fraction (SFF)

Safety-related data for customers in machine building:
Mean Time To Dangerous Failure (MTTFd)

The safety-data is available for all codable versions of the models IS-20-S, IS-21-S, IS-20-F and IS-21-F.

The SIL-Version has a SIL 2 logo on the label. The safety-related data is part of the manual and can be downloaded from the internet. Furthermore a declaration of conformity can be downloaded from the internet as well.
