Kemppi's revenue and profit continued to grow

It has subsidiaries in 15 countries and regular sales to more than 70 countries.

The business especially grew in the fast developingKempact RA for basic MIG/MAG-welding.

Since 2007 the company reports according to IFRS-standards.

The company has continued to invest in research and development of equipment technology, software and industrial services in order to offer the welding industry even more comprehensive solutions.

An increasing share of the revenues is expected to come from the developing markets in the future.

Despite the uncertain economic environment both revenues and profit are expected to continue to grow this year, as the company will launch several new products and service concepts.

One of the most important new introductions is the recognised iF Industrial Design Award earlier this year.

From this year onwards Kemppi will only produce welding equipment based on the inverter technology.

It was Kemppi that introduced the world’s first multi-process inverter welding machine in 1977.
