27/06/2011 - An On Site Gas Systems’ laser gas quality nitrogen gas generation system has been successfully in operation for nearly 24months providing the customer with an on site, reliable and cost efficient laser quality Nitrogen gas supply.

The system comprises a On Site Gas Systems nitrogen generator, high pressure cylinder filling booster, a bank of cylinders as well as high pressure piping, manifolds and regulators. 

The system generates nitrogen at 99.99% (100PPM O2) then fills this into G size cylinders at approx 300 bar for use and storage.  The gas is then regulated down to the customers required pressure and is reticulated to his machines. 

The cylinders bank is automatically refilled so the customer always has a large volume of gas to draw from at any time.

The system is fully automated so the customer can simply leave it switched on and the system will generate and fill cylinders and then go into standby when the bank is full without any user input from the customer.

The system was installed and commissioned late 2008 and has been operating without unscheduled downtime since first commissioning.

The customer reports that he is very happy with the system, its reliability, the quality of the gas it produces for his process and hence the final result of his cuts.
