20/08/2009 - Accuweigh’s Prisma MDT metal detection machines are designed for detecting metal contaminates in food products passing through a pipeline during the production process. These quality European produced metal detection units are for use in horizontal pipeline metal detection applications.
The MDT09 & MDT11 models are suitable for metal detection in liquids, meats and paste products and are made entirely out of stainless steel with IP65/67 protection rating so they can be used for metal detection in wet areas. Prisma metal detection machines are very compact to enable them to be positioned in very tight spaces where larger metal detection machines wouldn’t fit.
The metal detection electronics are separated from the metal detection heads for optimum mounting accessibility. Specific tubes are available for optimised metal detection for each of the various product types that these metal detectors are capable of handling.
