Comtest has now been accredited to perform testing to New Zealand PTC 273 for ADSL Modems
To compliment the extensive range of xDSL testing it provides, Comtest, has been accredited to Telecom New Zealand Specification PTC 273 ’Requirements for ADSL2+ CPE’.
This means Comtest can provide the testing of ADSL2+ modems and routers to Australian, New Zealand and International requirements. This is complimented by Comtest’s Telstra accreditation for Specification IP1149—CPE Requirements for connecting to the Telstra ADSL Network.
Comtest has its own DSLAMs and Line Simulators which can be configured for different network applications. Comtest is able to simulate differing conditions which allows CPE designers to be able to ascertain the performance of their modem/router in various configurations by simulating controlled environments.
Comtest is also accredited for New Zealand specifications PTC 200 and PTC 220 which means that Comtest is able to test composite and complex products for Access Standards Telepermit requirements.
Comtest also provides full ACMA compliance testing for telecommunications products and is a One-Stop-Shop for Australian and New Zealand approvals.
