Dwyer Instruments, the preferred source for your complete range of practical and affordable instrumentation, is announcing the release of its new series cdta communicating carbon dioxide humidity, and temperature detector.

The Series CDTA combines carbon dioxide, humidity, temperature, occupancy override, and temperature set point measurements in one compact device.  Field selectable BACnet or Modbus® communications transmits the measurements to the building controller and allows for the transmitters to be daisy chained with other communicating sensors.

Combination sensors like the CDTA reduce installation and wiring cost along with requiring less I/O on the controller to save additional hardware costs.

Carbon Dioxide measurements are taken using our own Single-Beam, Dual-Wavelength Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) sensor.  Humidity measurements are measured using a capacitive polymer sensor and the temperature is recorded by a solid state band gap sensor. Local configuration of the temperature set point and override can be done using the buttons on the side of the detector and the optional integral or remote LCD.
