A&D Mercury is Australia's largest manufacturer and exporter of weighing equipment.
2006 was a milestone year for A&D Mercury Pty Ltd representing the company's 60th year of service to the Australian Measurement industry. Originally founded as Mercury Scale Company in 1946 by Mr. Gwyn Adams and Mr. Bert Brice, the company has occupied the same location in the Adelaide suburb of Thebarton to the present day.
In December 2007, A&D Mercury chose COGITA to assist them implement Epicor's Vantage ERP software. They have a full-featured selection of modules including Web Portal, Product Configurator, Multi-Currency, VBI and MRP. A&D Mercury loved the SOA .NET enabled functionality of the product, and are also delighted with their choice of COGITA, having considered COGITA's locality and deep experience with businesses like theirs.
In recent years, A&D has sought to further expand its measurement capability with the creation of A&D Medical which deals with the supply and service of a range of health monitoring equipment.
