Product is conveyed by an enclosed overlapping bucket elevator from the process line into a 3,000 litre capacity supply hopper feeding the vibratory fed nett weigher valve bag filling attachment. Product is drawn from the supply hopper via a vibratory feeder fitted with an interchangeable stainless steel woven screen which serves as a screening separator for oversize product.
The product is passed through the screening process is fed onto a secondary variable speed vibratory feeder providing two speeds coarse and dribble feed control of product to the weigher for optimum accuracy. The screening and feeding equipment including the weigh hopper are all enclosed in a dust tight housing with hinged access doors for ease to clean and service.
The weighment of product is discharged into the valve bag filling attachment incorporating a high speed auger to convey the product into the valve bag, with vibrating bag compaction during filling.
The above equipment was all supplied by Accuweigh’s Melbourne branch mounted on a free standing frame with operator platform designed to Australian standards. Accuweigh has also supplied four (4) bulk bag filling stations and a gross weight valve bagging machine to the same client.
