Argosy and Sterling Recall

13/02/2008 - Daimler Trucks has recalled Freightliner Argosy and Sterling LT7500/LT9500 trucks fitted with TufTrac suspension, which were built between 20 November 2006 and 2 February 2007.

Certain vehicles may have been manufactured during the production range with centre rear suspension brackets cast out of square which could lead to the development of cracks in service. Should a casting bracket fracture completely the drive axle may not be held in its correct position and could adversely affect vehicle control.

Customers affected are advised to make arrangements with any Freightliner or Sterling Dealership to have the work carried out as soon as possible. If they have sold the vehicle, please contact Daimler on 03 9566 9380 or mailto: campaigns@daimlerchrysler.com
