Bag turners are typically used to clamp the bag top, rotate the bag ninety degrees and then release the bag allowing it to travel in the correct orientation to the downstream palletiser.
Budpak’s bag turner is supplied as a self contained, free standing bag turner and is suitable for anchoring directly to the floor. The bag turner has integral connections for single phase electrical and compressed air supply.
The bag turner unit includes the PLC and all necessary control items such as photo electric cell, timers, reed switches, etc. A control enclosure is mounted on the bag turner with an On/Off switch and adjustable timers for the Clamp and Return functions. The bag clamp assembly of the bag turner is mounted on a heavy-duty support pedestal and is height adjustable to suit different lengths via a simple hand-wheel arrangement.
