12/09/2008 - Imagine riding a motorcycle that develops 25% more power than a Formula One race car, can out-accelerate an F-14 jet fighter and consumes 56 litres of nitromethane fuel per kilometre (that's liters per kms, not kpl!). Built by King Racing, this 1,000 hp bike goes from 0-370 kilometers per hour in less than 6.5 seconds.

It's the most powerful motorcycle in the UK, setting records and winning Ian King numerous European and British championships in the Top Fuel category.

Gates belts drive five key functions on this metal monster. A Poly Chain® GT® Carbon™ belt is used on the primary drive, delivering 1,000 hp from the crankshaft to the clutch and gearbox. Another Poly Chain GT Carbon belt drives the supercharger. Gates HTD® belts drive the fuel pump, oil pump and the magneto that ignites the nitromethane fuel. In the words of Ian King himself, “We changed from your competitor's product to Gates who provide the only capable belt drive we have found." See a video clip of Ian King's bike in action at www.kingracing.com.
