22/07/2005 - A major Australian beverage company has successfully commissioned a new Fibre King Palletiser designed to run both Aldi pallets (800 x 600mm) and standard Australian pool pallets (1165sq). One of two new Fibre King palletisers recently installed, the machine runs trays and full cases of beverages at speeds up to 30 cases per minute.

When running trays on the Aldi pallet the machine inserts a layer sheet between every layer of product.  This results in a stable stack that requires a minimum of labour to present in the store.

With over 200 palletisers in the field Fibre King have also developed a retrofit kit that allows their current customers to convert their palletisers to run both the standard and Aldi pallets.

Other new technology for Fibre King include the recent commissioning of a 60 case / min wraparound case packer and the start-up of a unitiser / palletiser which allows the customer to stack directly onto a slip sheet with no pallet required.
