BudPak Palletiser In Tasmanian Stockfeeds Plant.
Provided by:Bud-Pak Pty Ltd 8/02/2008 - A robot palletiser is used for stacking bags of stockfeeds onto pallets at the Mons & Affleck plant in Tasmania. The robot palletiser is Fuji-Ace’s EC-101 model which is available with a variety of gripper assemblies for both palletising and de-palletising applications to handle bags, cartons, drums, cans, etc. Bags of stockfeeds are filled using a Budpak bagging filling machine before being transferred to the robot palletiser. The robot palletiser then stacks the bags onto pallets located on either side of the palletiser and stops once the two pallets are loaded to allow removal by fork truck. Up to three (3) empty pallets can be placed on each side, minimising the number of fork truck movements required to replenish the loading stations. The bagging lines and palletiser were installed in 2003 and can handle’s between 250 - 480 bags per hour in capacities of 10, 25 & 40kg. BudPak is one of Australia’s oldest packaging companies and has hundreds of bagging lines and robot palletisers installed in Australia and Asia Pacific. News Articles
