The CDT series compression Testing machines consist of a very rigid and robust load frame designed for tough industrial environments. Coupled with a load cell, electronic servo motor control system and computer, this series compression testing machine allows high precision, fully automated and programmable test profiles, data capture and report writing features.
The SANS PowerTest testing software is Windows based, and all data is stored in MS Access format. The software comes with preloaded standards, with standards and test projects easily edited by the user to meet almost any requirement. New standards and test projects can also be added.
The quick change platens can quickly and easily be interchanged to configure the machine for either CBR or UCS testing. Available capacities for this load frame are 50 kN, 100 kN, 200 kN, or 300 kN.
Testing Speeds are ranged between 0.001 mm/min to 50 mm/min which widens the applications for this series machine to include triaxial testing amongst others. The control system is closed loop, allowing load or position control as required.
