7/01/2004 - Clay Targets Australia recently commissioned Applied Measurement to design and build a test appliance that would enable quality control improvements in the production of clay targets.

The completed tester comprised a two channel mainframe, and a custom designed load frame for testing the tensile properties of the clay targets. The unit has a force range of 0-350Kg, and has custom designed software to monitor peak force at the point of destruction. The mainframe incorporates all of the required electronics to control and automate the operation of the load frame.

The unit comprises an AMA MF-110 instrumentation mainframe with integral AMA-2050B power supply card, an AMA –2044 signal conditioner and 3000b CPU card with intelligent 24 x 2 line display.
