Monitoring stations, established to provide continuous measurements, use a data acquisition and control unit to control sample and calibration systems, log data value and determine data quality measurements such as calibration results.

For this purpose Envitech Ltd. provides a PC-based Environmental Data Acquisition System - EnviDAS and EnviDAS for Windows. EnviDAS for Windows (EnvidasFW) is an intelligient, multi function, high performance data acquisition system which was designed with affordability and versatility in mind. EnvidasFW is a state-of-the-art system that uses non-proprietary desktop or industrial PC computer components to run flexible, environmental data acquisition software. A wide variety of data acquisition cards may be installed.

EnviDAS for Windows software includes a set of software programs designed to perform data acquisition and control for environmental and process monitoring applications. Normally a central administrative site communicates with a network of monitoring stations for supervisory control and to retrieve data values to a central database for storage and subsequent analysis. Envitech provides ENVIEW 2000 for that supervisory control. ENVIEW 2000's graphical user interface is easy to learn and use as well as providing dynamic display, data collection, archiving, reporting and a wide range of analysis and reporting capabilities.
