25/07/2005 - Telemetry Elektronik GmbH (Datatel) was founded in Hannover, Germany in 1976. Datatel markets telemetry products that typically involve force, torque strain, acceleration, temperature, and pressure measurements. Both off-the-shelf and customer-specified telemetry systems are available, in single-channel and multi-channel configurations. Several hundred measurement channels are possible

The telemetry equipment can be connected directly to sensors (e.g. strain gages, thermocouples, RTD, piezoelectric transducers, inductive encoders etc.) and involves contactless transmission of data and power.

Datatel Telemetry can be used under extreme environmental conditions (operating temperature -40 °C bis +125 °C, g-load up to 100,000 g, oil and moisture resistant) and includes high accuracy and signal quality.
The system offers a high analog signal bandwidth per channel (DC to 10 kHz or 20 Hz to 50 kHz). All measurement channels are transferred simultaneously. Standardized output signals can be connected directly to external data acquisition systems. A contactless, maintenance-free inductive power supply for rotating electronic components is available, alternatively, power supply can be by battery.
