Gamma Solutions initiates a take back program for End of Life Hardware

Ecological considerations are becoming part of the business commitment to global corporate citizenship. The adoption of European RoHS and WEEE standards requires producers of electrical and electronic equipment to limit the use of hazardous substances in manufacturing and to commit to the ecologically sound disposal of used electric and electronic equipment.

Gamma Solutions is committed to evaluating each supplier and will demonstrate a preference to those suppliers who provide products that meet the RoHS requirements.Gamma Solutions have undertaken to finance equipment disposal (WEEE) through an ISO14001 certified recycling company.  In this process products are dismantled into product streams, eg: plastic, metal, cable and glass. Up to 90% of all material processed is recycled. This is not just creating clean landfill but is maximising recycling.
