Mixers for the oil industry

Two WA crude oil heating/storage tanks were fitted with allMIX side entry mixers supplied by Unit Process Consulting. these mixers are highly efficient and were fitted with tank shut off devices to facilitate the maintenance of the mechanical seals without having to empty the tank of its contents.

The mechanical seals supplied with these mixers are expected to have a longer life than most as they are supported by a bearing incorporated into the mechanical seal cartridge. This design means there is minimal lateral movement at the faces so ensuring a longer life.
