New Inclinometer from Sherborne Sensors
Provided by:Applied Measurement 4/08/2008 - Sherborne Sensors have launched the LSI range of precision servo inclinometers, to meet growing customer demand for cost effective precision inclinometers. The new LSI series are suitable for a broad range of demanding applications. Leveraging the experience gained from our acclaimed LSOC range of high precision servo inclinometers targeted at rugged industrial and military applications, the LSI range delivers this design expertise to a broader range of applications, without compromising accuracy of angular measurement. The LSI is ideally suited to a broad range of applications including monitoring of civil engineering structures, geophysical and seismic studies, machine and structure alignment, pipeline levelling, crane safety and satellite antenna levelling. The LSI is a self-contained, precision, gravity referenced servo inclinometer with a 5 volt DC output and is available in several angular ranges up to ±90° with choices of single ended or bi-polar power supplies. Although designed for less harsh environments than the LSOC range, the LSI inclinometers still boast a broad operating temperature range and shock survival in excess of 500g. Sherborne Sensors are distributed in Australia by Applied Measurement. Applied Measurement P/L is a specialist firm focusing on engineered measurement applications involving sensors, and instrumentation.
