20/05/2008 - Eaton’s new Circutor CVMk2 Intelligent Power Analyser combines advanced power measurement and power quality analysis in a compact case that can be either door mounted as a unit, or separated for DIN rail panel mounting with remote display.

A universal mounting adaptor enables mounting in 96mm or 144mm cutouts.
 
More than 300 electrical parameters, plus local ambient temperature, are measured in true RMS and four quadrants. Power quality measurements include even/odd harmonics up to the 50th in current and voltage, THD, flicker, imbalance and asymmetry.

The CVMk2 evaluates power quality parameters and is capable of reporting data evaluation and disturbance detection. Data logging can be accomplished within the CVMk2 via its nonvolatile memory or at a PC workstation. Up to three expansion modules can be added for extra memory or analogue & digital inputs/outputs.

The graphical display represents waveforms and harmonic decomposition and can be customised. Communication is via RS232 or RS485 in Modbus RTU or Metasys N2 protocols.
