16/06/2003 - A consortium involving Holden Engine Operations, Powertrain and Project Advisors International Ltd. (PAC) has selected French company ATEQ and Australian engineering firm Applied Measurement to develop and deploy a new V6 cylinder head testing station, measuring the volume of combustion chambers.

The ATEQ V570 will allow Holden to conduct differential pressure calculations of engine cylinder heads. The standard pressure range of the V570 is up to 500 Pa and it is capable of reading volume variations within a few CC’s.

This is the second time Holden has selected Applied Measurement for system design and product supply for this type of application. Mr Alf Nyssen, Managing Director of Applied Measurement stated: “ I am pleased we could again provide Holden with a total system solution with the ATEQ product. The final result is a consequence of much cooperation between consortium members and suppliers, from a range of different countries including France, Japan, and Australia”
