16/11/2004 - Cincom Systems has received a contract to provide business management software and services to the Normalair Garrett division of Honeywell Australia. The contract is for a 45-user licence of Cincom’s Priority business and manufacturing software.

Normalair-Garrett Australia (NGA) is part of the worldwide manufacturing and support organisation of Honeywell Aerospace (USA). Cincom’s Priority will be installed in the Aerospace Manufacturing, Turbo Charger, Product Support and Merchandising divisions of the company.

Cincom’s Priority is a comprehensive business software solution encompassing financials, production planning, shop floor control, project management, purchasing, human resources, sales and service, warranty and repairs. It is particularly suited to small-to-mid-sized businesses and divisions within global enterprises.

One of the key factors for Honeywell in selecting Cincom was the company’s extensive expertise in the aerospace and defence industry.

“We have a long history in successfully providing business software solutions to the aerospace and defence industry,” said Paul Hargreaves, managing director of Cincom Australia & New Zealand. “At Cincom, we understand the very specific requirements of the industry and we have a track record for on-time, on-budget implementations that deliver a rapid return on investment.”

Cincom’s Australian customers include ADI Limited, ABRO, Messier Dowty, VT Shipbuilding, GKN, Goodrich, Thales Underwater Systems and Australian Submarine Corporation.
