24/04/2007 - Packaging Automation Pty Ltd will be exhibiting the Speed Disp Tray Denester at Auspack.

The innovative Speed Disp tray dispenser has been especially developed to handle closely stacked trays in a variety of shapes at high speeds of up to 120 trays/minute, depending on the tray design.

Available for high performance wash down environments, the compact Speed Disp can be provided as a stand alone machine, or can be fully integrated into many different types of filling, tray sealing and flowrapping machines.

This system is air driven rather the motor driven, which gives it a competitive edge. The Speed Disp’s patented profile cam dispenses one tray at a time in a very fast and efficient action in the harshest environments.

It is ideal for the fresh meat, seafood and chicken processing operations which use a rigid plastic barrier tray as well for salad producers that want to protect their product and ensure longer shelf life through minimising transit damage.

Most traditional machines on the market require a stack of trays with a minimum space of 5mm between trays, Speed Disp separates trays with a minimum space of only 0.5mm. The speed of the system is impressive handling up to 60 trays/minute in its standard configuration, but depending on tray design, can reach speeds of up to 120 trays p/minute.

Difficult trays such as hinged lids or aluminum foil trays can be handled without any problems. The traditional raised flange aluminum foil tray, commonly used in the ready meal market, can be denested quickly and cleanly using the Speed Disp, a feat non of its competitors are able to achieve.

The machines small footprint (500 x 500mm) means it takes up little infeed space. The pneumatic controls mean that the Speed Disp requires only a signal from an electric valve to cycle the system. Maintenance is also greatly reduced because of less moving parts. Dispenser head changeovers to accommodate different tray sizes are easy and take an operator less than a minute.

Please visit us on Linco’s stand (stand 726) at Auspack to view this system and discuss all your tray denesting requirements. We have the largest range of tray denesting systems in Australia and have a solution for most applications.
