The acquisition is part of the company’s expansion initiatives, SYSPRO – Asia Pacific General Manager, Shaun Butler, said. The company also recently has signed new partnerships with reseller Team Computing – servicing distribution and light manufacturing enterprises in Sydney and Melbourne, and the Singapore-based ERP distributor, AIT. Further announcements of new SYSPRO reseller partnerships both locally and in Asia are expected shortly.
The expansion of the SYSPRO network is being paced to allow new partners to be thoroughly trained in SYSPRO’s implementation methodology, Butler noted.
Last month (October 2005), SYSPRO’s implementation methodology, STARS, was awarded the 2005 K2 Quality Award for “Installation Channel/Methodology” in the USA. The company was also recognised by its reseller network in the USA where SYSPRO was named “Independent Software Vendor of the Year” at the VAR Business 500 Awards.
“Effective software implementation by our resellers means faster ROI for a client as well as helping customers streamline their businesses for greater operational efficiency,” Butler said.
“Having a quality reseller network which is well-trained in managing structured implementations means that customers can maximise the utilisation of their SYSPRO software,” he said. Reseller knowledge and experience was particularly important to SYSPRO as the company was continuously releasing innovative products for its mid-market customers.
