21/02/2006 - Rown Brown Sales are to announce a new range of filters for the removal of moisture

The intergrated liquid seperator is primarily used in air process systems where liquids such as water or solvents must be removed from the air before it reaches the vacuum pump. Pump contamination leads to oil degregation, premature pump failures and environmental problems.

The high efficiency, 99% liquid removal, is accomplished by a baffle mechanism along with directional air flow changes. The final stage has a polyester 5 micron filter element to remove any solids that enter the seperator. Should any liquid fill the seperator a ball floats to the top  of the discharge port and prevents the liquid entering the pump.

The housing incorporates DP ports for monitoring the filter, a sight galss for monitoring the contents, and ports for liquid level switches for automatic draining.

Although these filters were primarily designed for the air stream entering the vacuum pump, they suit most applications where liquid separation is required.
