Tectura (Australia) Celebrates First Birthday with 40% Growth Software reseller and Microsoft Dynamics leading partner, Tectura (Australia) is on track to achieve 40% growth in its first year of operation in Australia, more than double its initial target of 15-20%. Tectura (Australia) implements Microsoft Dynamics enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Dynamics AX, for medium sized companies and divisions of large organisations. Globally, Tectura is a privately-owned company with 1,300 team members in more than 60 offices across North America, Europe and Asia with customer implementations in 50 countries. Celebrating Tectura’s first birthday this month, Tectura (Australia’s) Managing Director Peter Maggs announced the inaugural growth figures which are 400% higher than the current IT industry average of 6-7%. Over the past 12 months, Tectura has implemented specialised verticals and ERP solutions for companies such as a world leading medical device company; care services provider, manufacturer and distributor of luxury home appliances and a global office supplies giant. “We’ve been able to develop many of the software modules ourselves and this intellectual property (IP) is used globally by Tectura. Conversely, we’re able to utilise global IP locally. “Not many IT companies have the muscle to develop IP to such a degree and Tectura (Australia) has been one of the most innovative in developing vertical industry offerings,” Mr Maggs said. Tectura’s reputation globally as a fast-growing and highly professional company had also provided Australian customers with confidence in the local operation, according to Peter Maggs. “Despite a very competitive employment market, we have to ensure their systems are ready for deployment into live operation attracted and retained the best people possible to provide high level customer service. The company is experiencing a steady staff growth rate and recently upgraded to larger offices in Melbourne with the Sydney office relocating in November. Tectura has utilised leading edge management practices such as consultative and coaching styles of management rather than the more traditional styles of command and control. Peter Maggs: “We’re in a people-focused business. It’s important to have the right people and empower them to be successful and the success of the business will follow. We have built a positive mindset at Tectura and we now have a 95% staff retention rate.” He said Tectura was fast becoming recognised as a leading edge software reseller where customers had the best of local industry expertise combined with global reach “We’re forecasting 20-30% growth over the next 12 months.
