Christmas is not only dead but having it's lifeless body jumped on from a great height. money cannot buy you love or labour on Christmas day. The Maryvale Mill is shooting it's self in the foot, it is not so much that they need people to work at Christmas to keep the factory going, people can understand that. It is the fact that they have asked for VOLENTEERS they have received 207 of them, but they need more . I'm not sure that the management have read a dictionary or fully understand the nature of the word VOLENTEER, it means – “A person who freely offers to do something” Oxford dictionary. To disguise their intentions by using the word VOLENTEER is a low act which will cost the organisation much in dollar terms and in productivity. The Ebenezer Scrooge award 2010 goes to Maryvale Mill.
